It gives you a set amount of data, and on some packs calls and SMS, to use in selected countries overseas. Each pack runs for 7 days from activation, so you always know where you stand. You'll need an active Mobile Plan, Long Life Plan, Family Plan or Super Pack to add a Roaming Pack to your service.
